Tape Rotation
For added data security, OMEGABYTE.NETWORKS
can rotate your tapes for you daily or weekly.
We preserve previous tapes for the rotation
periods, so that you can quickly return
to your backups. The best example of the
need for tape rotation is when you discover
that a file has been corrupted after you've
already backed it up to the tape drive.
With tape rotation you would have another
copy ofyour original data. The setup and
monthly fees include the extra tapes.
